The Salt Cellar, Derwent Edge, Derbyshire/South Yorkshire
The Salt Cellar is probably the most recognisable landform in the Peak District National Park. The eroded sandstone tor juts out of Common Heather (Calluna vulgaris) and grass-covered moorland, surveying the reservoirs of the Upper Derwent Valley.
