Rivers, Lakes & Tarns
Derwent Reservoir is one of three dams built in the River Derwent Valley. The other two are: Howden and Ladybower Reservoirs. This stage of the project was built between 1901 and 1916 from pink sandstone from nearby Bole Hill Quarry.
