Gib Hill barrow, near Monyash, April 2007
This barrow is to be found nearby the Arbor Low stone circle. Known as Gib Hill, it is a little overshadowed by its neighbour but it is interesting in its own right. What initially appears to be a straightforward Bronze Age round barrow, is somewhat unusually, built on top of a Neolithic long barrow.
