St. Govan's chapel is a tiny hermits retreat built in the 5th century, named after the saint who occupied it. Nestled among the steep limestone cliffs near Bosherston, it is reached by descending a flight of steps, which leads directly to the humble interior. The chapel has Grade I listed status it is also a Scheduled Ancient Monument.
