OWPG Awards

Two prizes received at the Outdoor Writers and Photographers Guild 2009 Awards. "The Peak District" won the outdoor book category and the series "North Yorkshire Limestone Pavements" won the award for best photography.

Light and Landscape

A new range of greetings cards entitled Light and Landscape has been launched, by Icarus Arts Publishing, featuring sixteen of my photographs.  The cards are available nationally from September.  www.icarus-arts.com

Photographer of the Year 2009

My image "Mangersta beach, grass circle" made the editor's shortlist in the Planet Earth category of the Photographer of the Year 2009 awards. www.photoradar.com

My second book as both photographer and author: “Light and Shadow – The Art of Landscape Photography” was published by Frances Lincoln in February 2010. www.franceslincoln.com

"Light and Shadow ” has been included in the list of the top 20 books on a landscape photography theme on www.bestphotographybooks.com

Light and Shadow

“Light and Shadow – The Art of Landscape Photography” was published in a Mandarin edition in May 2011. 

In July 2011 the new Parson Cross library was opened in Sheffield and as part of the innovative interior one of my images 'Hope Valley hills' was used on a five metre long curved seat.  Possibly my longest print yet!

July 2011 saw the fiftieth issue of PhotoPlus magazine and to celebrate they published a selection of work by their fifty favourite photographers, including me.
